Mr. Tony Seals is the President/CEO of CORTEK, Inc. Mr. Seals retired from the United States Marine Corps following twenty-one years of service. He has twenty-five years’ experience in Program Management, Government Systems Acquisition and Business Management in both military and corporate business environments. Mr. Seals rose through the ranks, serving in the enlisted, the Warrant Officer and the Chief Warrant Officer ranks, receiving a commission, and ultimately retiring as a Captain of Marines. His active duty assignments include two tours at Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, one tour at Headquarters Marine Corps, a two year assignment as the Marine Corps’ Representative to the Australian Army, as well as several tactical tours around the world. Following his retirement from military service and prior to starting CORTEK, Inc., Mr. Seals held Program Management, Business Area Director, and Corporate Executive Vice President positions in the Defense Contracting Business community at both very large and very small businesses. As the leader of CORTEK, Inc., Mr. Seals is building on 25 years of lessons learned in the Defense Acquisition Industry. Mr. Seals holds the firm belief that integrity, mutual respect, loyalty, quality of life and professional growth of his team, along with “giving back” are the functional foundations of every CORTEK, Inc. business activity. Mr. Ed Denion is the Chief Financial Officer for CORTEK, Inc. Mr. Denion’s industry career began in market research for RCA Service Company in Cherry Hill, NJ. In the ensuing 30+ years, he took on senior management and executive positions of increasing responsibility in marketing, operations, management of all headquarters staff functions, general management, and then CFO of a large engineering services division at L-3 Communications. Although his first job was in support of a telecommunications product distribution business at RCA, a key selling point to its Fortune 500 clientele was the company’s national service organization. Mr. Denion developed a plan to break out the service delivery to corporate clients from the infrastructure it shared with RCA’s consumer electronics service, and then was one of two executives to successfully implement the plan nationally. Mr. Denion was the Senior Vice President and GM of L-3 Maritime Engineering which employed about 1000 engineering and support personnel and generated annual revenue in excess of $170 million. Maritime Engineering provided systems engineering, software development and program management services and solutions to transformational programs in the Department of Defense. Customers included the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, Naval Sea Systems Command, the Chief of Naval Operations, Naval Air Systems Command, the Naval Networks Warfare Command, et al. Mr. Denion then became the Chief Financial Officer for L-3 Command & Control Systems and Services Division whose clients included USA CECOM, NAVAIR, NAVSEA, SPAWAR, USCG, et al. This $600M+ division provided SETA and other engineering and technical support services to this diversified customer base. .Prior to his management career in the technology industry, he served as Director of Admissions at St. Joseph’s University and taught mathematics at St. Joseph’s Preparatory School, both in Philadelphia, PA. Mr. Brian Shoop is the Senior VP – Operations for CORTEK, Inc. Brian is responsible for management oversight of all employees that provide engineering, technical assistance, and strategic planning for programs within Department of Defense and the State Department. He is also responsible for managing customer interfaces and ensuring oversight of efficient and cost effective dedicated support teams to assist the government customers in achieving their programmatic goals. As a former Army Program Manager who has led the successful execution of numerous programs in all stages of the acquisition life cycle, Brian has both the skills and experience to deliver and manage the best support teams for a variety of government customers. Following his naval career, Jim joined Titan Corporation as the Director of Strategic Operations and Deputy VP & GM, also assuming Program Management responsibilities for many efforts including Ship Construction Navy, Space Communications, and Serious Organized Crime Agency (London, UK). L-3 acquired Titan and Jim became VP & GM for C4ISR Services. In 2011, this and other groups were spun-off to form Engility Corporation and Jim became the Business Area Director of Navy Programs, and subsequently VP & GM of the Engineering and Program Management Group, a $600M+ operation with 2,400 employees in over 1,000 programs across the DoD for Navy, Marine Corp, Army and Air Force. Jim left Engility and accepted a position with Cortek, Inc. as the VP Corporate and Strategic Development.
