Daniel's enthusiasm for health, fitness, and performance is rivaled only by his experience and knowledge base. Daniel was raised in Boston, Massachusetts and has been passionate about fitness since he was 12 years old when he began weight training for football, baseball, and his favorite sport, surfing. Daniel saw success in his athletic career, but fell in love with strength and conditioning, which led him to study Exercise Science at the University of New England. There he excelled in his studies and was able to gain a wide array of experience as a personal trainer, strength coach, and Campus Leader. He continued his education at the University of Miami where he completed his Master's Degree in Exercise Physiology with a concentration in Strength & Conditioning. Daniel has worked with a wide variety of clientele including professional, high school, and youth athletes, the general population, and the elderly. He has been coaching all aspects of fitness and performance since 2008. Using his knowledge of kinesiology and human physiology, Daniel is able to tailor specifically to individual needs to help people achieve their goals. Sam's passion for wellness, fitness, and strength & conditioning stemmed from his dedication to athletics. As a high school athlete from a rural town in northern Maine, Sam relied on the guidance of his strength coach to make gains on the basketball court and in turn received the recognition of college coaches. While studying Applied Exercise Science at the University of New England, Sam became the basketball team captain, a committed member of Exercise Science Club, a teacher's assistant and a campus leader. He helped to launch a special program for work study students who wanted to gain experience in personal training, called Student Fitness Specialists. As a student fitness specialist Sam worked primarily with the university's athletics teams, including soccer, basketball, field hockey, lacrosse and hockey. After graduating from the University of New England, Sam went on to study Exercise Physiology with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning at the University of Miami. While studying there he was able to spend time with the strength & conditioning coaches and train with the prestigious Miami Hurricanes football team. In March 2015 Sam along with CFS coaches Scotty and Julian opened the second location of B-Fit personal training on Biscayne Boulevard in Miami, FL. Sam has worked with clients ranging from geriatrics, high school and college athletics, professional and olympic athletes, as well as everyday people to help them attain their fitness goals. Aside from personal training, he has worked in group settings, teaching fitness classes and coaching groups of athletes, he also continues to train a network of athletes via the CFS program. Sam understands the importance of fitness in any realm and specializes in helping people realize their goals, approach these goals with a positive attitude, and motivate them to achieve their very best through training. He is a firm believer that anything can be accomplished with hard work, commitment, accountability and proper guidance. Scott Johnson, a South Florida native, serves as an effective and knowledgeable strength coach at Wynwood Crossfit and B-Fit personal training studio who specializes in personal, group training, and boot camps. Scott graduated from University of Miami with an M.S.ed in Exercise Physiology with concentration in Strength and Conditioning, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology. While completing his degrees at UM, Scott worked at Jaguar Therapeutics - a premiere multi-disciplinary health company in South Florida - and assisted physical therapists in training professional athletes during the NFL combine, as well as summer NFL training in South Florida. Scott was also a member of the Performance Enhancement Team (PET) for the USA Sailing Team and traveled with the Team to the USA Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs in preparation for the 2012 London Olympics. Scott most recently interned as a strength coach for the Florida International University Football team and Olympic sports teams. As an accomplished athlete himself, Scott understands the importance of training in a smart and effective manner to gain the highest level of physical achievement. In 2005 Scott played Junior A Hockey for two years for the Hartford Wolfpack in Hartford, Connecticut. Scott was chosen to play on the Chicago showcase team in 2004 and 2005 and Scott is a two time national collegiate champion and two time All-American athlete. Scott was also chosen as a member of Team USA in the Global Inline Festival and was selected as a member of the World All-Star Team. As his love of the game continues, Scott currently helps coach the UM Ice Hockey Team where he won a national championship in 2011. Julian Arana is an exercise physiologist, personal trainer, fitness entrepreneur and overall fitness junkie from Miami, Fl. Growing up, Julian always had a passion for fitness, sports and helping people. His desire to help others coupled with his lifelong affinity for health and fitness lead him to pursue his passion by acquiring a formal education, graduating with a Bachelor's of Science in Exercise Physiology while gaining experience in the field as a personal trainer. He proceeded to obtain a Master's in Exercise Physiology/Strength and Conditioning from one of the best programs in the world at the University of Miami. Julian has worked with hundreds of clients, ranging from all ages and fitness levels, and has experience in the collegiate strength and conditioning field through internships. Julian developed his leadership skills teaching martial arts (Taekwondo and Krav Maga) prior to becoming a personal trainer. After years of working for multiple gyms, he noticed a lack of professionalism, qualified trainers, and poor customer service in the fitness industry. In his efforts to spread knowledge and awareness on achieving and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, he created B-Fit, a training studio located in Miami that would set a higher standard for personal training and fitness. Using all his knowledge and experience, he put together a complete program to help anyone from elite athletes to sedentary individuals reach their fitness goals. Julian then teamed up with his colleagues from the University of Miami to create the best online personal training program that applies the same level of excellence and customer service: Correct Fitness Systems!
