About Coomber Construction With 37 years in the construction business, Jim Coomber leads a company of skilled craftsmen, dedicated supervisory personnel and reliable subcontractors. Starting out as a carpenter in 1970, Jim worked with Sandcastle Builders, Luxury Builders, Viewpoint and Mayfair Homes, MKCB Builders and Jim Jones Construction. In 1979, Jim himself became a Licensed Contractor and began Coomber Construction, Inc. He quickly developed a reputation as a custom design builder whose work is elegant, efficient and functional. His formula for success has been a combination of superior products and friendly customer service. Throughout the construction process Jim and his staff function in the role of construction advocate and advisor. By providing ,clients with the knowledge necessary to make well-informed decisions and guidance through the different building stages, Jim and his team promote a level of comfort that most companies do not offer. Mr. Coomber started in the construction trade first as a draftsman until he began working as a carpenter in 1970, he has been a licensed contractor since 1979. CCI became incorporated in 1990.
