With over a decade of experience as a therapist, Meredith has accrued an impressive resume of specialties, presentations and a variety of highly individualized services to her clientele. Meredith has completed Basic Training in EMDR and is currently working toward certification in this specialty. EMDR can be utilized as an effective treatment for trauma, anxiety, and poor body image among other issues, especially when other therapies have not been effective for an individual. In addition to her clinical work, Meredith provides supervision for Licensed Professional Counselor Interns, and therapists seeking certification as eating disorder specialists. is a family systems therapist with extensive experience working with patterns of addiction and mood related issues. She received a BA in Psychology from the University of Texas, a Master's in Clinical Social Work from the University of Houston, and has been practicing for nearly a decade. Her work focuses on the psychodynamic influences that either help, or hinder, individuals on the path to becoming who they authentically desire to be. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the State University of New York-College at Potsdam, and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Louisiana Tech University. Her clinical experience includes individual and group therapy, assessment, and treatment planning in settings including inpatient, intensive outpatient, university counseling center, private clinic, and community-based mental health rehabilitation. She has also worked in vocational rehabilitation and career counseling. Her approach to treatment is eclectic, utilizing a variety of evidence-based techniques within the safety of a warm, empathic, and nonjudgmental therapeutic relationship to help you reach your goals. is a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern. She is passionate about working with adolescents and adults with eating disorders, and has experience working in eating disorder treatment centers including EDCASA in San Antonio, and Kaiser Permanente in Denver. She graduated from University of Denver with a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Trinity University.
