Contractors Business Systems Contractors Business Systems is a Software Distribution and Consulting firm for construction companies that seek to enhance their profitability by optimizing operational efficiency. In other words, we help construction companies get to the next level and improve their bottom line by streamlining processes with software solutions. For the last 22 years, Michael has serviced some of the top 400 construction companies throughout the US as a consultant. He started the consulting part of his career with Gaec Corporation helping clients implement Star Builder. He eventually moved onto selling WinEst Estimating and Wincost Accounting Professional with WinEstimator and then went on to sell and consult clients on Pivot Accounting, and Trackpoint Estimating with Conac Software Corporation. Knowing that the industry needed more dynamic software solutions, in 2000 he branched out and began distributing software for Tally Systems and Corecon Technologies. As part of the initial Corecon team, Michael was asked to leverage his extensive construction knowledge and expertise with competitor products to help design certain aspects of Corecon’s software so that it provided the most comprehensive project management solutions for small to mid size construction companies. Knowing that Corecon and Tally Systems are still the industry’s leading software solutions, he continues to sell these products to his clients today and is the lead consultant for many of Corecon’s high profile clientele. Michael also sits on the board of DeLand Housing Authority; a non-profit organization that helps provide housing for the underprivileged in his local community of DeLand, Florida. Chad Newberry, MBA, VP of Business Development Chad Newberry has over 13 years of experience in Marketing and Business Development and now leverages that experience to expand the reach of Contractors Business Systems throughout the North America, Central America and the Caribbean. He holds an undergraduate degree in Advertising & Public Relations from the University of Central Florida and a Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine University. After graduating with his MBA, he joined the construction industry with Contractors Business Systems. Chad oversees all of the company’s marketing efforts and helps ensure a positive customer service experience for our clientele.
