Health has been a problem in our society as a whole for some time now, and the number of obese and overweight children and adolescents seem to be climbing every year. One of our aims as Conquerors by Faith is to excel not only spiritually, but physically as well. We have a team of mentors with different athletic backgrounds and experience in sports training. We want to coach our youth in proper sports techniques and maintaining active lifestyles to help build confidence and inspire them to work together as a team. So we will coordinate friendly games of pickup basketball, baseball, soccer and flag football. Work ethics involve attitude, behavior, respect, communication, and interaction; how we get along with other people. Work ethics demonstrates our character. Such as honesty (not lying, cheating, or stealing), doing a job to the best of your ability, taking value in what you do, having a sense of purpose, being a part of a greater vision. Work ethic is desiring to do the proper thing in a given situation. Work ethics are intrinsic; they come from within. Work ethics for our Conquerors hold two main principles – humility and the treatment of people. Humility is an act of servitude, which emphasizes placing other people needs before our own. Treating people with value and respect equate to the golden rule. The treatment of people involves loving your neighbor, loving your enemy, doing good o those who dislike you. It involves valuing others, and knowing they have worth. WE WILL POSITIVELY GUIDE AND ALTER THE LIVES OF DISTURBED AND UNSUPPORTED YOUTH THROUGH OUR BELIEF OF CONQUERING EVERY OBSTACLE BY FAITH. WE DO REALIZE THAT FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD. THERFORE, WE PROVIDE REVITALIZING SERVICES IN EDUCATION, PROPER ETIQUETTE, FAITH, HEALTH, WORK ETHIC, AND SELF-LOVE. THE INCORPORATION OF THESE SERVICES MAKE AN IMMENSE DIFFERENCE IN THE LIVES OF THE YOUTH AND THEIR FAMILIES.
