CONNECTION COALITION, INC., formerly known as YOGA GANGSTERS, INC. (YGA), is a Miami-based non-profit organization officially registered in Florida under the status 'Florida.Models.Dos.FloridaCompanyStatus.' YGA's mission centers around empowering youth by addressing issues such as trauma and poverty, which manifest through challenges like limited education, addiction, violence, incarceration, teen pregnancy, and homelessness. Operating out of Orlando with its mailing address at 1202 SENECA FALLS DRIVE, ORLANDO, FL, the organization was incorporated on July 23, 2010. YGA engages youth over a structured six-week program, ensuring continuity by meeting regularly at predetermined times and locations throughout each session. This approach facilitates a strong bond between instructors and participants while fostering principles of integrity and commitment. The non-profit relies on its teachers to provide teachings and on partner organizations for space provision. Since its inception in 2012 in Arizona under the leadership of founder KG, YGA has successfully trained over 60 volunteers across various locations including Boys & Girls Clubs, LGBTQ youth groups, alternative schools, group homes, shelters, treatment centers, and is preparing to start a noteworthy program at the Maricopa County Juvenile Justice Center. Under new direction, with Terri Cooper as President and Victoria Albury as Manager, YGA remains committed to expanding its reach and providing impactful programming.
