He and his family relocated to Tampa in 1984 and took a position with a large real estate management company where he supervised the management, construction or renovation of large projects. Dan’s commitment to quality professionalism has always been a basis for his volunteerism. He served as a certified instructor for the Apartment Association and IREM. He still continues to provide education by offering seminars for BAAA and contributing articles in the Bayline Magazine regarding issues that confront managers of the multifamily industry. In 2009 Dan was inducted into the Florida Apartment Association (FAA) Hall of Fame In 2000 Dan opened Complete Climate Control, a full service HVAC Company, providing air conditioning service, indoor air quality concerns and mold inspection and remediation. He recognized that the multi-family industry as a whole needed someone to help further develop the technical skills of their staffs as well as be a company that the properties could rely on when there was the need for an honest and responsive Contractor. Dan is an active member of the masonic fraternity, through JF Swartsel Lodge #251, and their philanthropic philosophy. He has achieved his 32 degree in masonry through the Scottish Rite and is a Shriner. Dan’s partner in his business is his wife, Teri Allen, also a veteran of the industry. In their leisure time they enjoy the spending time with their children and their families, which include 13 grandchildren and counting….At home they are continually entertained and kept busy with their 4 Labrador Retrievers; Daisy, Toby, Skittle and Smokey. Teri Allen was born and raised in Savannah, GA. After marrying and starting a family in the 70’s, she obtained her Georgia Real Estate license and worked in a full service real estate company, Liberty Realty, in Hinesville, GA. In 1979 she took her first step into property management by assuming the position of Property Manager at Liberty Realty handling a diverse portfolio of rental properties. In 2009, after over 30 years of her focus in property management, Teri joined forces with Dan at Complete Climate Control to help him strengthen the office procedures, train the staff and techs in customer service and relations. Teri is instrumental in implementing marketing programs, monitoring, and educating the Company's staff about the ever changing laws with regard county, state and federal legislation regarding the HVAC industry. Adam joined Complete Climate Control in 2010 and has become an integral part of the company. A native born Floridian from Jacksonville, he graduated from Gaither High School in 1996. After high school Adam enrolled into PTEC, a technical college, four year program, where he honed his HVAC skills. Upon graduation Adam worked with large, local Tampa HVAC companies and was exposed to the commercial, residential and appliance repair and installation side of the business. While working in the industry Adam obtained his State Certified Air Conditioning License in 2005. Adam operated his own business until 2008 when he re-enlisted into the Army.
