I have been in the health care world for over 10 years now. I started out many years ago from a call I received from my Mother-in-Law that was doing 24 hour care for a patient and she needed a break. I had no clue what I was supposed to do, but I went. I fell in love with the patient. She was the most amazing person I have met, and she was in the first stage of dementia. After taking care of her, I found my calling and wanted to do more. I took care of other clients, in their home, ranging from transition care all the way to the end of life.
