Come Out With Pride Orlando, Inc. is a dedicated all-volunteer nonprofit organization inspired to positively impact the LGBTQ+ community in Orlando and beyond. Known for its significant annual event celebrated in October, this organization welcomes participants from Central Florida and across the nation to join together under the banner of #KeepDancingOrlando. The mission of Come Out With Pride is centered around fostering fellowship and support among businesses, professionals, individuals, and charitable organizations within the LGBTQ+ and allied communities. The organization aims to provide positive role models for its community while offering financial assistance to other local LGBTQ+ oriented nonprofits through grant programs funded by event proceeds. Inaugurated in 2005 as a distinct entity under the Metropolitan Business Association (MBA), Central Florida’s LGBTQ+ chamber of commerce, Come Out With Pride was formed to concentrate on uniting and encouraging open dialogue within the local community. It has established itself as one of the largest pride events in Florida, with over 150,000 attendees in 2016 and generating an approximate $11 million economic impact for Orlando that year. An integral part of Come Out With Pride’s mission is to give back through charitable initiatives such as cash grants and scholarships, making significant contributions exceeding $30,000 by 2016. The organization emphasizes collaboration with local entities to support struggling groups focusing on education and assistance within the LGBTQ+ community.
