The event will benefit survivors and those coping in the aftermath of the loss or injury of their loved ones. “When the horrific event occurred at Pulse, many of our family and friends reached out to contact us to make sure we were OK,” said Shane Mauldin. “There was no doubt in my mind that it could have been us in the crowd that night! We were so overwhelmed by the love that was shown to us we decided to take action to help the victims and families. We don’t have deep pockets but we have a lot of friends, and we are really great at cutting hair. So I thought this would be a great way to return the love that was shown to us.” “We hope the event gives everyone a way to do something about what happened at Pulse. Many of my friends and customers have said that they would like to help but didn’t know what to do. Now we are so proud to be the founders of Comb Together Inc., a 501.3c, and to have the ability to have a direct mechanism for people to come to the aid of the victims, families and survivors of this horrific incident. They will directly be comforted and aided by every donation, whether it’s money or time. We hope that everyone who comes to the event has a great time and continues along with us to support them, now and in the future.”
