Adam currently serves as Collegium’s head of Asset Management. He has spent over 16 years in private equity with a focus on real estate acquisitions, healthcare, biotech, and professional sports franchises. As Co-Founder of Pragma Investments, Adam has, to date, acquired over $200 million of student housing properties, successfully re-positioning them in their respective markets. Adam has vast experience in several executive roles, highlighted by his seat on the Advisory Board of the NBA’s Charlotte Bobcats (now the Hornets) as well as the WNBA’s Charlotte Sting from 2003-2008, as well as Living Independently, LLC from 2004-2008, a technology company that was subsequently acquired by General Electric. Adam is a former student-athlete and graduate of the University of Maryland. James currently serves as Collegium’s head of of Acquisitions and Capital Markets. He has spent the last seven years owning, operating, financing, or divesting real estate assets. James joined Collegium from Green Courte Partners, LLC, where he sourced and underwrote investments in assets and companies operating within niche real estate sectors and was a critical team member in the disposition of Green Courte’s over-$1.3 billion land-lease community portfolio in 2015. Prior to Green Courte, James worked in the corporate office of Hyatt Hotels Corporation, where he was responsible for over $300 million of transaction volume in the company’s joint venture portfolio and for building the company’s five-year financial forecast on which executive compensation was based. James began his career at Merrill Lynch, is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and graduated with honors from the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University. Carlos serves as Collegium’s Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Collegium, he was a vice president of Wells Fargo’s South Florida commercial real estate group, where he originated and managed over $600 million of debt for a variety of high net-worth real estate owners and developers. The bank began integrating its merchant banking capabilities into the traditional commercial banking platform following the Wachovia acquisition in 2009. Carlos spearheaded the use of merchant banking products in the Southeast region and executed the first of many nontraditional transactions for the South Florida office, including non-recourse structured products secured by real estate and non-performing loans. In 2011, he was awarded a Golden Spoke award by the bank for leading the group nationally in origination and revenue production. Carlos has a Bachelor of Science in economics from the Wharton School with concentrations in finance, operations, and information management. Jeff, a Co-Founder of Collegium and Pebb Capital, provides guidance across all enterprise and investment-related activity. Previously, Jeff co-founded Pebb Enterprises, a multigenerational real estate office that has developed, owned, and operated a diverse family-owned portfolio consisting of retail and office properties in excess of $500 million throughout Florida for the last 45 years. Todd, a Co-Founder of Collegium and Pebb Capital, presides over strategic planning, process, and execution of Collegium and Pebb Capital real estate ventures. Previouslyl, Todd was the co-chief financial officer and in-house counsel for Pebb Enterprises. Todd began his career as a securities litigator at Fowler White Burnett and Homer Bonner & Delgado in Miami, representing major financial and securities brokerage firms. He has a Bachelor of Science in speech communications from Syracuse University and a J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
