My name is Shirley Cohen, or Miss Cohen as the younger kids call me. The service I provide is all about teaching kids from 2 to 5 years old to prepare them for early preschool (ages 3) and preschool (ages 4). My responsibility is to help them develop their cognitive, gross motor, and fine motor skills, as well as their social and emotional skills by providing engaging lessons from activities, computer games, worksheets, and hands-on experience. I am very proud to say that I am certified in my 45 hours and I’m continuing my education to receive my Associate of Arts Degree and my Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary education at Daytona State College. This has provided me with the experience and qualifications to provide superior service to your children. I provide several different resources of learning material, including worksheets, activities, hands-on experience, and computer games that young kids cannot resist. Each child learns differently in their own way, so I focus on getting to know the child’s strengths and weaknesses before I hand them any learning material. This helps to reduce the stress and struggle some students experience. I enjoy working with kids one-on-one as much as I can because it’s extremely important for any child I am working with to have my full attention. They deserve no less. We currently accept cash, check, or Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. If necessary, we can provide a bill/invoice to let you know how much you owe and for what.
