COCOA KAYAKING INC., MERRITT ISLAND

Cocoa Kayaking tours are a way for all ages and family members to enjoy the ocean and its waterways both comfortably and efficiently. As we paddle, we travel across Florida's unbelievable and indescribable scenery. It's an experience that you simply cannot get anywhere else! Beginners to advanced level paddlers are welcomed. No kayaking experience is needed. We will give you instructions on paddling and safety while on dry land before we head out into the water. If you need additional assistance once in the water, we will paddle at a leisurely pace and help instruct you through the tour. At Cocoa Kayaking we limit our group sizes to guarantee that our tours are of very highest quality. Each of our tours last up to 2 1/2 hours. On your tour your kayak, paddle and life jacket will be provided. We also provide dry bags, bottled water, Gatorade, sunscreen, wide brim hats, polarized sunglasses, towels, and bug spray on your tour. We also have brand new boats and equipment! We strive to make your experience on the water an unforgettable one. **We also provide private tours and group tours which can be made by request.** Cocoa Kayaking Inc. is a proud sponsorship of The Children's Hunger Project, “Brevard Countys Backpack Program.” A portion of every Eco-Kayak Tour or Rental purchased will help to feed a child in need. Each week on Friday, The Children's Hunger Project helps as many elementary school children as possible to carry food home for the weekend in their backpack. For more information about The Children's Hunger Project, check out their website Cocoa Kayaking "Had such a great time with Genevieve during our kayaking trip! It was serene and beautiful paddling amongst the mangroves and she was such a fun and knowledgeable guide. The mangrove tunnels are so cool, too! My friend and I had a wonderful afternoon and we're so glad we chose Cocoa Kayaking as our tour company to go with! We can't wait until next year's bioluminescence tours start up. We will definitely be back!" "My granddaughter and I took a tour with Dale on 8/9/2017 and it was absolutely fantastic! We are true beginners and Dale spent time going over the features of the kayak and the tips for paddling and staying in the craft. He was extremely knowledgeable about the area and did a great job of pointing out the wildlife and features of interest. We were on the water a little over two hours and the time just flew by I'm sorry to say. We had a great experience and if you ever get the chance to book a tour with these good folks don't pass it up!!" "We did the bioluminescence tour as a family of five with three children- everything was perfect from Genvieve's sms beforehand confirming directions to the photos we were emailed afterwards. Don was a great guide - informative and interesting. The whole bioluminescence experience is breathtaking, we saw jumping fish and caught a glimpse of a dolphin - for the children it's the best thing we've done so far ! A definite must during your vacation, I highly recommend Cocoa Kayaking!" "We went on the bioluminescent night tour tonight and it was amazing! I highly recommend this tour group. My group were newbies and Sebastian was our group leader and he was AMAZING!! He helped us guided us. Was very patient and taught us how to paddle. He even pulled me out of a tree when I ran into it. He made me feel like I was doing a great job and never made me feel like I was stupid. We will be going again. To see the water glow was out of this world. I can't say enough how much fun this was!" If you are coming from Orlando you will want to get on Highway 528 and continue down as if you are heading toward Cape Canaveral. As you get close, mile marker 46 is actually the US1 Cocoa Exit. Coming across Highway 528, US1, after the exit you will go across the bridge over the Indian River. Cocoa Kayaking's trailer, will be on the left hand side on mile marker 48. You will have to take a u-turn to get on the left hand side of mile marker 48, where you will see a trailer with Cocoa Kayaking's Logo.
