His education and training as a train mechanic in Europe, led to a job as a mechanic of hosiery machines in a large factory in the US. Abraham worked very hard and after a few years, and with just two old machines, he started Coca Socks which is now the family business. He married and had four sons. His sons, in different roles and at varying times, have continued the company in the fine tradition set by their father. Today, after more than 70 years of experience in the manufacture of stockings, Coca Socks has a presence in North and South America, with bases in Miami FL, USA and in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Coca’s international presence offers unique opportunities to optimize product development, manufacturing, and marketing processes while adapting to the particularities and needs of each specific market. Then, he discovered that very close to him there was an opportunity to continue to express himself creatively while working in the family business. Guille immersed himself in all aspects of the business from design to product development, marketing, and operations. He recognized that he LOVED it all. He studied law and as a practicing attorney brings a wealth of education, legal savvy and business experience to his role as CEO of Coca. Guille believes Coca Tights and Socks is a complete union of all his passions and a wonderful way to share products of the highest quality with an international community of stylish, environmentally conscious customers. Immersed in the family business since he was a little boy, he learned to appreciate all aspects of business in addition to sales. New challenges took him through much of the United States where he served as Marketing Manager of major national corporation, finally residing in Florida. He is now back within the ranks of the business that gave birth to his career applying a wealth of experience and in depth knowledge to help grow COCA Tights & Socks while retaining the culture of quality, design and development that is the founding concept of our brand. As a growth strategies consultant, LaVerne offers over 20 years extensive sales, marketing, and branding experience to help guide Coca’s expansion plans.
