Through collaboration, cooperation and partnership, Cobb Community Foundation (a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization) takes a leadership role in promoting the importance of effective philanthropy in Cobb County. While we use professionals to invest and manage assets, our board is made up of local citizens who know all aspects of the community. Together, our team helps establish permanent funds to support a broad range of interests, including education, the arts, health and the conservation of historical, cultural and environmental resources.
The Community Foundation for Cobb County is overseen by a local Board of Cobb’s business and community leaders. We work with individuals and organizations to create endowment funds, which are managed by a team of professional investment advisors. We help donors connect their charitable interests to a variety of important community needs through grants, specific gifts, and scholarships.
