Dan & Rochelle: Both are native Floridians and avid water lovers with a back ground in swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, SUP surfing, canoeing, kayaking, windsurfing, sailing and fishing. They have a strong connection with the water and absolutely love to paddle-surf! Rochelle has a bachelor’s degree in Biology with a concentration in Oceanography from Palm Beach Atlantic University. Rochelle and Dan are the proud parents of 3 great kids. Rochelle was a stay at home mom for 18 years before opening this business 8 years ago. Dan has been Stand up Paddling for 12 years and recently retired early from corporate life, to pursue this dream. It’s one of those “we started with a truck and a dream” type stories. Facts are, Coastal Paddle Boarding started as a mobile company that had a truck, trailer and 2 boards. We opened for business on March 27th, 2010. We spent our first 6 years in Martin County, FL. We met a lot of great people and grew our fleet. The wet summer of 2016 dealt a devastating blow. We had to close because of polluted water from Lake Okeechobee. We are proud to promote all our locals!
