COACHING THE GLOBAL VILLAGE, INC., WINDSOR

The driving purpose of Coaching the Global Village is to work with social change agents to use coaching to create innovative solutions to pressing global challenges. In the emerging international context new approaches to development are needed to increase sustainability. The coaching philosophy is that within every individual lies a wealth of knowledge and resources that are the source for sustainable solutions. CGV has become the fiscal sponsor of this life changing program for formerly incarcerated women and we have plans, hopes, and dreams to expand this domestically and internationally. We are gearing up to train others to work with this underserved and undervalued population. We provide women with the tools they need to reclaim their stories and become catalysts for change in their own lives. Our workshops, offered across all stages of criminal justice involvement, provide a fusion of life coaching, arts-based intervention, yoga, meditation and other healing modalities. We believe that for every women who receives the healing, empowering and trauma informed services offered by Project Liberation, there is a powerful ripple effect: as these women connect with their own power and sense of purpose, they are able to support their families, give back to their communities, and disrupt the pathways that often lead to imprisonment. Project Liberation helps women identify their own visions for living in a more healthy and just world, and then provides connections to organizing and professional opportunities to make those visions a reality. Additionally, Project Liberation provides a platform for women who have been incarcerated to speak to their experiences and advocate for change. We are most proud of the changes happening in the lives of the women we serve, as they move from disillusionment and helplessness to leading authentic, resilient lives that keep them on the path of sustainable freedom. We’ve witnessed clients reconnecting with their children, securing sustainable housing, leaving abusive relationships and becoming economically self-sufficient, and pursuing higher education and employment opportunities aligned with their intrinsic motivations and goals. is the Founder and President of The Institute for Life Coach Training.
