Alberto Cobian is the President and Founder of the Clinical Alliance Network. Born in Silver Spring, Maryland, he moved to the Dominican Republic and received his bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management. He worked as a student for two very successful restaurants as the operations manager, and upon graduation  married a newly graduated doctor and moved to Orlando for the grand opening of the Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resort where he grew his management skills for 10 years. During the real estate boom of 2001, he received a financial brokers and real estate  license, and for 2 years  worked in commercial medical real estate sales and financing.  With a passion for helping his wife now a pediatrician seeing her offices financial situation getting worse and worse he decided to take over the management of her practice and apply his management styles acquired at Disney.  He knew he could turn the practice around and focus on great patient service with a key eye on the financial picture to make sure his wife was working smarter, not harder. After 8 years of seeing how the medical business worked and how the independent doctor had very little opportunities to compete, he got together with other colleagues and doctors and started to research how they could make a network that would help the independent doctor stay in business and level the playing field for his wife and therefore the entire specialty.
