Annie Clifford founded Clifford Enterprises in 1989, after working ten years for Wang Laboratories in Chicago, Illinois and Lowell, MA. The company originally specialized in designing newsletters, company logos, brochures, letterhead and business cards to better assist companies in marketing their products and services. In 2000, we changed our business model and brought the marketing efforts online. We began focusing on custom-designed websites. In 2002, we were the first company to add a video to a web site. We filmed, encoded and streamed short three-minute segments to client sites. For that effort, Clifford received the 2003 Business Person of the Year along with several other local business men and women from different industries. She was nominated again in 2004. In 2009, we changed the company name to Clifford Web and Video Services to best reflect our new focus.
