Circle of Independence is a family owned and operated company, that was founded in 2009 by Jan and Charlie Stammer. Jan's background as a caregiver for senior citizens gave her a first-hand understanding of the needs of senior adults who had varying levels of ability in meeting their daily life needs. She began Circle of Independence because she saw a need for caring, competent help that would allow seniors to remain in the homes where they were happy. If home health care or nursing care is needing, Circle of Independence will refer you to an appropriate home health care agency. Circle of Independence assists seniors and frail elderly with everyday tasks like going to the store, taking out the trash, remembering to take medications, preparing a simple meal, basic housekeeping chores, or transportation to doctor's appointments or social activities. When nursing or full home health care is not needed, Circle of Independence provides a variety of services for the elderly in or out of their home or place of residence.  Circle of Independence carefully matches individual clients with compatible caregivers according to interests, temperament, and level of support needed by the client. If nursing or full home health care services become needed, Circle of Independence will refer you to an appropriate home health care agency.
