God has called us to love and serve HIM. Our goal is to show the love of Jesus in everything we do. While doing life together we celebrate that together we make difference. At Church of the Sower, we are committed to serving the needs of you and your family by teachings based on God's word.   Wherever you may be on your spiritual journey, at Church of the Sower you will find a supportive community. We encourage you to grow in confidence and joy in Jesus Christ through service to our community. We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ; His death, burial, and resurrection. Salvation is a gift from God, not a result of our good works or of any human efforts (Ephesians 2:8-9; Galatians 2: 16, 3:8; Titus 3:5; Romans 10:9-10; Acts 16:31; Hebrews 9:22). Christians are people who have invited the Lord Jesus Christ to come and live inside them by His Holy Spirit the third person of the Trinity. They relinquish the authority of their lives over to him thus making Jesus the Lord of their life as well as Savior. They put their trust in what Jesus accomplished for them when He died, was buried, and : The Holy Spirit is manifested through a variety of spiritual gifts to build and sanctify the church, demonstrate the validity of the resurrection, and confirm the power of the Gospel. The Bible lists of these gifts are not necessarily exhaustive, and the gifts may occur in various combinations. All believers are commanded to earnestly desire the manifestation of the gifts in their lives. These gifts always operate in harmony with the Scriptures and should never be used in violation of biblical parameters. (Hebrews 2:4; Romans 1:11,12 :4-8; Ephesians 4:16; II Timothy 1 :5-16,4:14; I Corinthians 12:1-31, 14:1-40; I Peter 4:10). Is the Body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine appointments for the fulfillment of Jesus' great commission. Every person who is born of the Spirit is an integral part of the church as a member of the body of believers. There is a spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 1:22, 2:19-22; Hebrews 12:23; John 17:11,20-23). Jorge Figueroa dreamed of "planting" a church in the Orlando area. The goal was simple... help people connect with God that they may know Him, and in turn lead others to do the same. With his wife, Florence, they began to fulfill the vision God had placed in their hearts. Plans for Church of the Sower began in their home on August 2nd, 2010. Over the weeks & months that followed the home church grew as individuals partnered with the Pastors and committed to the dream. After four months, the home church outgrew the location and Church of the Sower secured a new larger space to accommodate the new arrivals. Church of the Sower temporarily relocated to a local church in the Conway area of Orlando. Within a few months, COTS began the process of construction and remodeling our present location. With the help of the Dream Team, 22 people committed to the vision, Church of the Sower launched its first service on December 11, 2011, at their newly renovated campus at 6901 TPC Drive #450 in Orlando, Florida.
