Christmas Lane, Inc. is renowned for its spectacular light display that was first created in the 1980s for the Dover, Florida community. Over the past three decades, it has evolved into a major attraction with approximately 1.5 million lights illuminating over 200 Christmas trees ranging from 4 to 40 feet tall. In 2015, the event relocated to the Florida Strawberry Festival grounds in Plant City, FL, expanding its offerings to include new displays, an enhanced food court menu, nightly seasonal entertainment on a professional-quality covered stage, and several rides for children's enjoyment. Santa, Mrs. Claus, and their elves are present each night, while various characters like Rudolph and Frosty make spontaneous appearances. A full nativity scene is presented to commemorate the true essence of Christmas. Prominent features such as a Christmas Castle, large toy soldiers, an enormous reindeer, and even a polar bear flying an airplane captivate visitors year-round. The display also includes designated photo spots, including one dedicated to honoring military service members.
