Christine Wesley has been preparing technical documentation since 1974, when she worked in the Engineering Publications Department at Motorola, Inc. After eight years, she moved on to Stargraphix, Inc., where for four years, she typeset a wide variety of products for local area printers: legal contracts, menus, forms, flyers, yellow page ads, business cards, etc. After that, she worked for 24 years at Summit Technical Associates, Inc./SummitTech Communications, Inc. preparing technical manuals, standards, user guides, and textbooks for clients such as The Instrument Society of America (ISA), The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), The Electrical Generation Systems Association (EGSA), The American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC), Motorola, Inc., and The American Welding Society (AWS). In 2008, she started her own company, Christine Wesley, Inc. I worked with Chris Wesley for over a decade. Together we produced over 50 publications that continue to serve technical professionals as educational materials, reference works, and spiral bound everyday work tools.
