CHICK-FIL-A, INC., ATLANTA

There's nothing standard when it comes to doing business in New York City. To meet the fast-paced lifestyle of our urban customers, we created a new and quicker way to serve them by using iPads to take orders in line. We call it "upstream ordering." Chick-fil-A was included in Glassdoor’s Top 100 Best Places to Work in 2018. The Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Awards program, now in its 10th year, relies solely on the input of employees, who elect to provide feedback on their jobs, work environments and companies via Glassdoor. We're Going Cage-free Whether it's offering wholesome options, or simply removing unnecessary ingredients, we believe in better-for-you fast food. We're working toward a menu that is increasingly healthy and sustainable, while never sacrificing delicious. We're constantly working toward cleaner ingredients. Here's our latest milestones: - Removal of high-fructose corn syrup and artificial dyes and colors from Chick-fil-A dressings and sauces- Removing high-fructose corn syrup from our buns- Reduction of sodium by 8% across 25 menu items, and up to 50% on others We're serious about our supply chain. That's why we partner with yogurt suppliers like fairlife®, a group of dairy farmers who share a common belief in extraordinary standards: honest, sustainable and traceable farming. Giving Philosophy Chick-fil-A wants to help restaurant team members achieve their dreams of higher education. Since 1973, we have awarded approximately $45 million to 42,400 team members. Being a Chick-fil-A Operator is about more than serving chicken, it's about having a positive impact in the local community. That's why, around the country, our restaurant Operators find creative ways to serve. In some communities, that means supporting the troops through military appreciation events or fundraisers for local schools; in others, that means inviting guests for family events like Daddy Daughter Date Night or Stuffed Animal Sleepover. Our Operators are always on the lookout for ways to help their communities. Truett Cathy dedicated his life to inspiring and challenging others, especially children, to be their best. He believed in hard work and leading by example. He knew that, if given the chance, every child could reach his or her full potential. True Inspiration Awards seek to celebrate people and organizations that embody his philosophy by providing grants to organizations working in emerging leader development, youth entrepreneurship and innovative approaches to education. Chick-fil-A, Inc., Founder S. Truett Cathy died Sept. 8, 2014, at age 93. Cathy started the business in 1946, when he and his brother, Ben, opened an Atlanta diner known as The Dwarf Grill (later renamed The Dwarf House ). Through the years, that restaurant prospered and led Cathy to further the success of his business. In 1967, Cathy founded and opened the first Chick-fil-A restaurant in Atlanta's Greenbriar Shopping Center. Today, Chick-fil-A has the highest same-store sales and is the largest quick-service chicken restaurant chain in the United States based on annual system-wide sales. Cathy was the author of six books and was a committed philanthropist dedicated to making a difference in the lives of youth. He was the recipient of countless awards over the years, both for his business acumen and for his charity. With his wife of 65 years, Jeannette McNeil Cathy, he led a life that was centered on biblical principles and family, and is survived by his sons Dan T. and Don "Bubba" Cathy; daughter Trudy Cathy White; 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Family was always central to Truett Cathy's life and would shape his unique approach to business later in life. With his wife of 65 years, Jeannette, he had three children: Trudy, Don "Bubba", and Dan. The current generation of the Cathy family honors Truett's legacy and continues to put his principles into action in both business and philanthropy. Truett Cathy always maintained he wasn't in the chicken business, but the people business. From knowing his customers by name, to forming lifelong friendships with his employees, Cathy viewed his business as more than a source of revenue for him and his family; it was a source of encouragement to others. Truett Cathy had a special place in his heart for his employees. He believed -- as we still do -- that giving people the opportunities they need to succeed helps all of us prosper. Truett never went to college himself. That's why since 1973, Chick-fil-A has given more than $35 million in college scholarships to Chick-fil-A restaurant team members wishing to pursue higher education. We're adding new, even more enjoyable features to our app that'll make ordering food at Chick-fil-A One treats are intended to give our customers an opportunity to try featured Chick-fil-A menu items. Therefore, treats are redeemable for only one of the specified a la carte products in the offer. Our system does not permit entire product substitutions.  We apologize that you did not intend to redeem your treat during your recent visit to Chick-fil-A. We understand a treat may be redeemed accidently when scanning the Chick-fil-A One App in-Restaurant. Currently, if you have a treat that matches a menu item you ordered, the system automatically selects the treat to redeem regardless of the card you selected in the app. The system prioritizes treat redemptions by the closest expiration date. We are exploring ways to allow guests to select which treats they would like to redeem. Unfortunately, we are unable to reload redeemed treats. If you would prefer the item not be redeemed, you can opt to remove it from your order. Placing a mobile order offers you the ability to turn off treat redemption if you order a matching product. Just change the ‘Redeem treats’ toggle switch from ‘Now’ to ‘Later’ when placing your mobile order. 4. Because this is a local offer, Location Services must be turned on in order for you to redeem this offer.  Please ensure you have allowed the app access to your device’s Location Services permissions.
