Chess4Life has a proven, proprietary training system that has produced multiple national champion students and some of the highest ranked students in the United States. Our instruction system focuses on understanding chess and how to think effectively during play so students can figure out the best move in any position, not just memorize patterns of movement. This methodology helps students to avoid developing bad habits that may be difficult to correct. Our coaches employ a number of teaching tools including DVD’s and Workbooks that have been created and designed by National Master Elliott Neff and a highly skilled team of chess coaches. Elliott and his team have spent hundreds of hours developing this curriculum and building an instructional system that helps students establish a strong foundation that avoids bad habits and prepares them for continual achievement, ongoing progression, and overall success. This training program is present in all of our programs, but it is delivered most comprehensively in chess classes at Chess4Life centers We at Chess4Life very much look forward to working with you and your children to positively impact their lives through chess. How can I start a Chess4Life Chess Club at my school? Chess4Life provides organized, goal-oriented chess instruction by qualified coaches – to start a club at your school, simply contact Chess4Life and we will discuss with you the possibilities of starting a chess program at your school. We require a minimum of 10 students to start a club. Chess4Life provides all materials and generally handles production of flyers, registration, and other materials.. Chess4Life offers a weekly Friday Night Quads tournament that is a great way for kids to compete at their own skill level in a non-intimidating environment. You could also try a Beginner’s Tournament which are only open to students who have played in 3 or fewer tournaments. Every player receives a trophy and our coaches help students learn the rules for chess competition.
