Before joining CheckVelocity, Mr. Newman spent 5 years as an officer within the Midsouth Commercial Banking group of Bank of America where he earned President’s Club recognition and the Nashville Business Journal Award for Distinguished Sales and Marketing. Mr. Newman started his banking career in Memphis with First Tennessee Bank, serving the financial needs of a large portfolio of commercial clients. Mr. Newman graduated with honors from the Southeastern School of Banking at Vanderbilt University. He received his BBA degree from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University. Ms. Vincent joined CheckVelocity in 2004 as the company Controller. In that capacity, Ms Vincent was responsible for implementing and overseeing the financial policies, procedures, controls and reporting systems of the company. Today, as Executive Vice President and CFO, Ms. Vincent is responsible for all aspects of the company’s financial management, planning and program execution. Additionally, she is responsible for establishing company compliance standards for ACH processing, as well as Human Resource policies and benefits. Ms. Vincent is a key member of the Executive team. She sits on the Board of Directors and serves as Treasurer. Prior to joining CheckVelocity, Ms Vincent held related positions with Gaither, Rutherford and Company, LLP, as well as Peterbilt, Inc. Ms. Vincent graduated with honors, earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting, as well as her MBA from Middle Tennessee State University. Ms. Vincent is active in several nonprofits and civic organizations in Nashville. Ms. Walters joined CheckVelocity in 2003 after graduating from Lipscomb University with a double major in Marketing and Project Management. As Senior Vice President of Customer Care, she is responsible for overseeing daily operations and customer relations; in addition to working closely with clients, strategic partners, and technology teams to manage data automation and integration projects, ensure industry compliance, and improve process efficiency. Ms. Walters acts as the liaison between Executive, Technology, Operational, and Customer Service teams; accomplishing objectives by establishing cross functional relationships, removing impediments, and maintaining customer expectations.
