Chasseur Realty Investors Courageous” is a quarterly publication of Chasseur Realty Investors, LLC. The name is taken from the 1977 America’s Cup winner. This boat, the Cup winner in 1974,” , was acquired by a captain who then defeated the original owner with his older boat! Chasseur Realty Investors, LLC, is a company which acquires, renovates, and aggressively manages apartment communities, both for themselves as well as others. Our target markets include Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi and the I-85 corridor, from Atlanta to Greensboro. Chasseur has been founded by a team of real estate investment and management professionals who have previously managed over 40,000 units, from Boston to Sarasota, and from Houston to Chicago. In fact, we have managed, acquired, improved, repositioned, refinanced and disposed of apartment communities at substantial profits in virtually every major market east of the Mississippi, and as far west at Texas. We also have extensive experience in Phoenix, Arizona! Chasseur Realty Investors specializes in making value add investments outperform. In addition to adding value through the installation of outstanding management practices, we also enhance financial performance through performing renovations, which at times can be extensive and where appropriate can be both limited and targeted. We also will be opening a new Value Appreciation Investments division in January of 2015. This endeavor will be focused upon making investments in highly desirable markets of South Florida and in Arizona. These investments will be in the $1M to $5M range, and while still offering a cash on cash return usually in the vicinity of 5% to 7%, will be made primarily on the basis of long term appreciation.
