Phyllis Alderman, DMin is commissioned to ministry and holds a Master of Religious Education, and Doctor of Ministry, from Trinity Evangelical Seminary of Florida (1999). She served extensively with a major Florida utility in corporate administration, and has served on a mega-church primary staff for 24 years. Her ministry experience includes directing Single Adult Ministry, Women's Ministry, Living Free Support Group Ministry, and twenty years of management in Church Personnel and Administration. , a Christian Single Parent Family Ministry in the Tampa Bay area, and Life Purpose Coaching® Center for Single Parents. This ministry is a goal-based two year program, to assist single parent families through transition by providing affordable housing and life skill development in a Christian environment, and incorporates the Life Purpose Coaching® for each resident. She is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), and the Single Parent Family Ministry (SPFM), American Association of Christian Counselors, Christian Coaching Alliance, Bellair Bluffs Business Association and Largo Mid Pinellas Chamber of Commerce. Phyllis brings authentic encouragement and hope to others, by phone, e-mail, face-to-face, or in small or large groups. Her true joy comes from seeing others catch the vision that God really does have a unique and personal plan for each life, and that He delights in leading them along their own "Pathway To Purpose." Her years in the business and ministry world have given her a heart of understanding, motivation, encouragement, and inspiration. She is gifted in helping others find direction and fulfillment through significant life transitions, whether planned or unexpected. Phyllis is an inspiring speaker and consultant for women's ministry, as well as church administration and leadership development. Through many years of preparation, and the launching of Changepoints For Living, Phyllis now devotes her passion to helping others find focus and fulfillment for now and the future. Phyllis has two grown children, a daughter in Florida , a son in North Carolina, and 5 grandchildren. She is a single parent and grandparent, and enjoys family trips, travel with a purpose, snorkeling, reading, writing, speaking, coaching, and new challenges. She has served on the primary staff of First Baptist Church of Indian Rocks in Largo, Florida, since 1984. She is the Founder and President of Shepherd's Village, a unique single parent family housing ministry. She has recently launched her professional life coaching practice, Changepoints for Living in Largo Florida.
