CFX Markets acts as a centralized platform where investors can buy and sell shares of alternative assets with each other, bringing liquidity and flexibility to the industry. CFX Markets is integrated with other issuers and portals to streamline the process of secondary market transfers of alternative assets. Yes. We go to great lengths to ensure the security of all of our member information and other data and use Secure Sockets Layer (“SSL”). SSL is the standard security technology for establishing an encrypted link between a web server and a browser. This link ensures that all data passed between the web server and browsers remain private. SSL is an industry standard and is used by millions of websites in the protection of their online transactions with their customers. We are also regularly audited by third party security firms to ensure compliance with the most rigorous security standards. An investor may want to sell their securities for any number of reasons including: - financial performance of the company CFX Markets is an online platform where investors can buy and sell shares of alternative assets with each other. Sellers may list their eligible assets on the platform, where buyers can compete for the best price to purchase these assets. CFX Markets is a hybrid of an auction and an open market platform. What does that mean? We allow for many participants to gain access to each transaction, which provides the best pricing for the seller. We also allow for an immediate "buy now" price for faster execution. The duration and price targets for all listings are controlled by the seller, giving you flexibility and the best pricing available. CFX Markets is a hybrid of an auction and an open market platform. Once we have a signed listing agreement from you, we're ready to place your asset for listing right away. A typical listing runs from 3-5 days and is sold during the first listing. From there, through our expedited online platform, we are able to complete the transfer within 1-2 weeks of matching. Once your asset has been listed and sold on the platform, your proceeds are held in escrow until the shares have been transferred to the new owner. Once we have received confirmation of the transfer, funds are released to the seller and can be send via electronic ACH or wire for faster delivery. What fees does CFX Markets charge to buyers and seller? There is no charge to list your asset on CFX Markets. We charge a 3.5% fee to the seller and a 2.5% fee to the buyer, based off of the matched purchase price. Currently, only accredited investors are eligible to purchase CFX Markets assets. An accredited investor is a term defined by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) under Regulation D, Rule 501. An investor must accomplish at least one of the following in order to qualify as accredited: Be a bank, insurance company, registered investment company, business development company, or small business investment company. Be a business in which all the equity owners are accredited investors. Be an employee benefit plan, a trust, charitable organization, partnership, or company with total assets in excess of $5 million. For trusts, LLCs and other entities, we are required to collect the relevant legal agreements to ensure you are legally permitted to direct investments.
