About Ceroic While Ceroic was founded in 2013, its story really began way back in 2009 after I left my job with a pretty large company. I was fed up with the sluggishness and politics so I left in my own self-professed “Blaze of Glory” and formed my first company, Defiant Byte. (edgy, right?) Since we’re here talking about Ceroic, you know where this is headed. While an amazing learning experience, Defiant Byte never turned out to be what I wanted. I decided to take an amazing opportunity back with the company that gave me my first “real” development job, a small business in Maitland. The strategies and techniques I picked up with the large enterprise worked at a smaller scale. I stayed with them for almost 2 years before I left with renewed focus and started Ceroic, a company dedicated to helping small businesses with constantly evolving technologies. We’re asked a lot about where the name Ceroic came from. As most will agree, technology can be…shall we say…frustrating?
