Our Central Broward Construction Team Kenneth Justin Lord is the President and CEO of Central Broward Construction, one of South Florida’s largest and most successful Masonry Companies. With an inherited reverence for South Florida, Mr. Lord stands in the forefront of efforts to maintain the Masonry trade in our local community. In 2000 he was asked to join Central Broward Construction, Mr. Lord is the third generation to serve the corporation; he has been a Labor, Mason Tender, Apprentice, Chief Estimator, and worked as Project Manager. Mr. Lord attended Auburn University and received a degree in building science in 2003. Mr. Lord assumed leadership of the company in 2005 and to present day has overseen the direction of this third- generation, 42- year- old, family – owned company. Central Broward Construction is a founding member of the Masonry Association of South Florida. In keeping with tradition, 2007-2008 Justin served as Vice President and in 2009 became the President of the South-East Chapter of the Masonry Association of South Florida (MAF) as well as a member of the State Board of Directors. Mr. Lord now also serves on the Masonry Education Foundation which concentrates on education and apprenticeship. With his leadership, the MAF is responsible for the Mr. Lord’s most recent accomplishment is the purchase of Coast to Coast Forming, Inc. Coast to Coast has an extensive history being founded in 1990 by Dave Hutchins. Mr. Hutchins brings his knowledge and expertise as a South Florida pioneer of post tension cable, flying aluminum forms, and instrumental in developing numerous form systems and safety practices. CBC and C2C have an extended history of working together, combining their concrete and masonry expertise on many successful projects. This acquisition will enable Mr. Lord to provide concrete services to the South Florida Market. Bob is the Executive Vice President of Central Broward Construction. He has been employed with us since 1978, where he first started as a mason foreman. He has been in the masonry business for over 40 years. He has worked on a variety of projects including hospitals, schools, retail stores, and government buildings. Joe is the Vice President of Operations at Central Broward Construction and has been in the construction industry since 1987. Joe has worked on a variety of projects including hospitals, schools, retail stores, and government buildings and has Shell Construction Concrete background. Mr. Weeks owned his own consulting firm, Weeks & Associates, LLC for the past 10 years in which he performed ERP implementations (Netsuite, Dynamics AX) for several companies, and served as the interim CFO and Controller for several other companies in a wide variety of industries. As an executive, Mr. Weeks served as the Chief Financial Officer for IFT Corporation, Inc., a public manufacturing company listed on the American Stock Exchange. He was in charge of all accounting, finance, human resource, information technology, and SEC and SOX compliance. Before that, he served as the Chief Financial Officer of Ad Management Systems (AMS), an advertising and marketing company located in Pompano Beach, Florida. (Cendant Subsidiary), a $300M hotel reservation company, where he supervised an accounting staff of 18, and was instrumental in rebuilding a new infrastructure allowing the company to grow over 300% during his tenure. This led to the successful sale of the company to Cendant, Inc., a Fortune 200 company, in August of 2003. Before Cendant, Mr. Weeks was the US Financial Controller for a public company listed on the London Stock Exchange, Air Partner, PLC, the world’s largest aircraft charter/broker company. Mr. Weeks was responsible for all U.S. and Australian financial operations, where his budget consolidation process was adopted by all 15 of the United States and European offices abroad. Jerry is a Senior Estimator/Project Manager at Central Broward Construction. Has been involved in the Masonry business for more than 40 years. Jerry is the third generation in is family to be in the Masonry trade. Marvin is a superintendent with Central Broward Construction and has been in the masonry business for 28 years. Marvin has worked on a variety of projects including schools, retail stores, government buildings, high-rise construction, hospitals and hotels. He completes construction projects by planning, organizing, and controlling projects; completing quality inspections; supervising sub-contractors and staff with a precise attention to detail. Doris keeps all project and all related processes running smoothly through the coordination of activities, resources, equipment, and information. She has been working in the administrative field for over six years, having held positions in Educational, Business, and Human Services. Doris focuses on bringing together employees, products, clients, and other resources for CBC. With a degree in Administrative Management Sherry has joined our team to help provide the top quality work of Central Broward Construction. A background in Management of education helps provide a positive work place by supporting Management, HR, and Project Operations. She provides quality relationships with Customers, Vendors, and Staff to keep day-to-day productions going smoothly.
