This position is to direct and supervise production activities and employees in accordance with procedure and standards to achieve established production schedules and desired quality levels. This position has excellent opportunity for promotional growth. Responsibilities – Detail oriented individual to lead mold builds for high cavitation, unscrewing and slide molds. Capable of managing documented data relative to mold stack up, to ensure successful mold test. Class “A” Mold Maker capable of maintaining stringent tolerances required to meet CPKS. Able to manage resources to bring mold builds on time and on budget as well as meet quoted hours and delivery dates. Prepare needed prints and procedures to coordinate work needed from outside vendors and Shop Supervisor. Attend internal kickoff meetings and provide input for design and mold. Communicate the most efficient method of manufacturing for the job with Engineering, Molding, Production, Management staff, Vendors and any Customer Representative. Complete paperwork prior to mold shipment. Evaluate completed jobs for improvements with necessary personnel following mold shipments. Guide and tutor assigned apprentices to further their education. Provide support to the entire tool and molding process. Perform performance reviews of all tool makers. Cavaform International.
