Following his educational experiences at Florida International University (FIU), Joel Hernandez joined the family business full-time and launched EconoChannel in 1998, expanding their reach across North America, South America, and the Caribbean. In pursuit of diversification in 2009, the Hernandez family sought to leverage their robust technological capabilities and manufacturing prowess by partnering with Uldis Lopez.
