originated as Catholic Community Services, and as a result of the work and vision of Monsignor Bryan O. Walsh, later became Catholic Health and Rehabilitation Services. In 1985, we assumed the name Catholic Health Services of the Archdiocese of Miami to reflect our growing scope of services. Although our services are varied and the communities that we served are diverse, our mission, vision, and values serve to unite and fortify us.
An active and eclectic Board of Directors, experienced in health care, social services, business, finance, education and Catholic ministry, governs CHS. Our corporate management team and facility administrators are the highest caliber of industry professionals committed and dedicated to providing superior standards of quality care and services.
Patient Satisfaction measures our patients’ opinion of the quality of customer service we provide to patients and their family members/visitors during their stay with us. There are many important factors that contribute to the patient experience. Our patient satisfaction survey is designed to measure these factors in detail so we can ensure that all of your needs are being met during your stay with us.
Since 1988, Catholic Hospice has been providing responsive end-of-life care to patients and families in Miami-Dade and Broward.
We have continued to realize success through our ongoing dedication toward putting people first. We are Licensed in the State of Florida, and Medicare/Medicaid Certified. Catholic Hospice is affiliated with Catholic Health Services.
