started his career as the first Master Craftsman from the apprenticeship program at Walt Disney World in Orlando in 1976. He received extensive training in wood carving, cabinetry and metal work. He helped design tools and machines used in the construction process at Epcot, one of Disney World’s four theme parks. He also helped build Discovery Island, one of the trademark locations at Walt Disney World. The experience gained at Disney allowed him to open his own business doing custom designs for high-end furniture, kitchens, libraries and offices in Orlando’s upscale neighborhoods and shopping areas. It was during this time that Carver Dan was researching Carver Dan has been selling Puzzle Boxes on QVC every year since then. He recently decided to expand his product line to include key chains, wall art, refrigerator magnets, jewelry boxes and the whimsical product he calls “flying art.” He also has done custom designs for companies who have a favorite logo, school mascot or artistic design they want to see done in wood.
