CARS RACIN' FOR A DREAM INC

CARS Racin’ For A Dream has been a slogan that Kim Scheffler has used for years when signing autographs for fans. When asked “What is the dream?” Kim would reply “To use my racing to help others.” Kim joined with fellow racer Rick Bristol’s vision of using the racing industry to help others in 2005 by racing in Rick’s Inaugural Charity 200 Truck Race. Rick’s organization C.A.R.S. Racing For A Cause Inc. began that same year. Kim became a board member of the organization in 2011. Together with the communities support C.A.R.S. Racing For A Cause has helped over 30 children and their families by raising almost $250,000. Rick decided that 2016 would be his final year being the active president of C.A.R.S. Racing For A Cause. Rick will continue helping behind the scenes with CARS Racin’ For A Dream. Rick’s endless devotion and hard work will be remembered and cherished by all the families he has touched. Kim wanted to carry on the vision that they shared to help serious and terminally ill children and families. So what better way to do that then to start CARS Racin’ For A Dream Inc. Her networking in the past and her community involvement have proved to be the very foundation of her dream….. helping others in the community. Currently CARS Racin’ For A Dream is in the process of becoming a reality. We have our 501C3 non profit status. They are currently teamed up with Rick and C.A.R.S. Racing for a Cause Inc. to help the 5 children and families of 2016. Mission Statement: “We exist to share our dream of a brighter tomorrow through faith, hope & love”
