Dr. Rice has over 20 years of clinical, information technology and executive management experience within academic medical institutions, national health plans, disease management organizations and healthcare IT solution consulting firms. Currently, Dr. Rice is CEO for Healthcare Bluebook, which provides fair pricing to consumers, employers and providers. Previously, Dr. Rice served as Executive Vice President of Medical Leadership and Business Development for Healthways where he was responsible for leading strategic alliances, mergers and acquisitions. Prior to that position, Dr. Rice served as CEO of CareSteps, which was successfully merged with Healthways. Dr. Rice led the development and implementation of market leading technologies in consumer-oriented evidence based medicine and advanced predictive modeling for CareSteps. In addition, Dr. Rice has extensive managed care operational experience having served in executive roles with NYLCare (New York Life Insurance Company's managed healthcare subsidiary) and as Director of the Managed Care Organization at Duke University. Dr. Rice has served as an independent director of Source Medical Solutions and RevPoint Healthcare Technologies and an advisory board member of Seneca Health Partners Venture Capital Fund. Previously, Mr. Kampine was Vice President of Innovation & Insight and a key architect of next generation employer solutions at Healthways, a global leader in providing Disease and Lifestyle Management services. Mr. Kampine served in a number of executive roles at Healthways, including the founding of the internal strategy and M&A function where he led several key strategic acquisitions, as well as the establishment of Healthways business outside the United States. Prior to Healthways, Mr. Kampine assisted in the development of CareSteps Inc., a predictive modeling and disease management company that successfully merged with Healthways in 2001. Mr. Kampine also served as an economist and consultant to global Fortune 1000 companies in the healthcare, insurance and pharmaceutical industries. Mr. Kampine conducted graduate work in economics at George Washington University and holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University. Mr. Nicholson is an Information Technology executive with 20 years of expertise creating and implementing strategic IT plans, building and developing cross-functional teams, overseeing operations for major business units, spearheading enterprise level technology projects for Fortune 200 clients, and standardizing development and operational processes across entire enterprises. Previously, Mr. Nicholson was a Principal at North Highland where he was responsible for selling and delivering IT strategy, implementation and development projects for companies of varying sizes. Prior to Healthways, Mr. Nicholson served as a Principal Consultant at PriceWaterhouseCoopers where he led development projects for large clients, including Motorola, Keebler, Anheuser-Busch, Zurich American, Sodexho Marriott. Mr. Nicholson specialized in enterprise application design and configuration, implementing enterprise packages, such as SAP technologies, into client business architectures. Michael O'Neil began his professional career writing and producing for television, print, and film. He served as a member of a three-person launch team behind two distinct start-up divisions of a multimedia company, Cowles Enthusiast Media. During this period, Michael also co-produced The Emperor's Club, released by Universal Pictures in 2002. Mr. O'Neil moved on to complete his MA in Counseling Psychology and Management Science and worked with First Data Corporation to create and execute an Executive Assessment and Development program for the company's top 60executives. He then joined a boutique consulting firm (Hamilton Partners) specializing in aligning strategy and C-level talent for clients ranging from Fortune 100 to private equity portfolio companies. Michael began working in healthcare as a counseling psychologist, and moved into healthcare services in 2002, where he held P&L responsibility for the Medicare Advantage book of business as a general manager for Healthways (AMHC, NASDQ), specializing in population health and behavior change.
