So why was this amendment added to our Constitution. Since this is Independence Day, lets take a look at the document that we are celebrating today, The Declaration of Independence which was signed on July 4th, 1976 by a group of men who represented the 13 colonies. By putting their name on this document, they condemned themselves to a course of action that would free our country from England and the rule of its King. They would either become free or would be hung by the crown. One of the first thing that Britain did was round up all of the guns in the colonies. Though this would have an impact on the writers of our Constitution, the source of this amendment actually goes back further to ironically the British Bill of Rights or 1689. Just prior to this time, King James II had disarmed all of the Protestants in the country so they could be systematically eliminated. That means he killed them if there is any dispute. After King James II was overthrown, the new government enacted this Bill of Rights. The bill states that it is acting to restore “ancient rights” trampled upon by James II. Of course under the rule of kings this set of laws didn’t seem to last long in England. But our fore fathers did take note of this law that would restore the power back to the people. We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.–That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, –That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.–Such has been the patient sufferance of these Colonies; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former Systems of Government. Car Show Television is owned and operated by 2 car fanatics who love looking at and tinkering with cars. The partners have been in television production for the last 20 years and one day they wanted to turn their passion for cars into their own television network. They setup Car Show Television to share this passion of cars with others. is a 20 year veteran of broadcast television and marketing. He has worked as a senior producer for numerous television shows and has worked with most of the Fortune 500 companies in helping them get their messages across in video. He is a very passionate car fanatic and a walking encyclopedia of facts and trivia about cars. Car Show Television was created to show off the amazing cars we see at these car shows and tell the stories behind the cars. Each week we attend as many car shows as we can and talk to the owners and builders of these cars and share it with the world. We love our home state of Florida and especially South Florida. Here in South Florida there are 2-4 good car shows every weekend. In the winter time, when the cold invades the North, South Florida becomes the home for numerous incredible car collections. Car Show Television started off in 2013 as a weekly television show on The Auto Channel WHDT 9 which airs in South Florida. The show quickly became a huge success with the South Florida car community. Seeing the need for similar programming across the country, in 2014 Car Show Television began launching its own network of OTT (Over The Top of the Net) channels on Roku, Amazon Fire TV, and Android TV. Launching with over 40 on-demand episodes, viewers across the country and even internationally could now access the show. The production team went on the road and began covering car shows and events all across the United States introducing new viewers to Car Show Television. They have covered some of the most prestigious shows in the country including the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance, Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, Concorso Iltaliano, and the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals in Chicago. While the show still airs locally via broadcast television in South Florida to a potential 5 million homes as well as in 10 other syndicated markets across the country, the OTT network of on-demand Car Show Television channels are rapidly exceeding the viewers on traditional television. This OTT broadcast model of delivering video content to viewers is the future, and Car Show Television is embracing it as are our viewers. With a network of streaming OTT channels in place, Car Show Television has recently launched into covering live events such as automotive auctions. Viewers can watch the live action on any one of our HD television plateforms as well as iPhones, Android Phones, and tablets. Working closely with auction houses viewers can call in bids on the day of the show. For those who just love watching, the entire auction will available afterward for on-demand viewing. Car Show Television’s offices are located in Club 66, an exclusive private club and storage facility for classic and custom cars. Its a beautiful backdrop of rare classic automotive muscle.
