We are dealers for all major manufacturers and can perform installations from a simple Nav/Com to RVSM. Capital Avionics was founded in 1978 by Al Ingle, carrying on a tradition of pioneering aviation established by his grandfather, Charles A. Lorber. Lorber was hired by Pan American Airways shortly after its’ founding and went on to become one of only four “Horsemen of the Heavens”, as a Captain of the ocean crossing Clippers. He flew many of these first revenue flights, including the first commercial flight with passengers from New York’s La Guardia Marine Terminal to Spain. Two generations later, Capital Avionics was established to provide superior avionics support.
