We never add preservatives to our products and strive to use the best ingredients possible. We use local Cruze Farm milk and buttermilk, source eggs from cage free/hormone free sources, use pure cane sugar and of course…All Butter All The Time.
Magpies was born in 1992 to founder Peg Hambright. She was a graphic designer/illustrator/musician college drop-out who just wanted to make stuff. Her love of process, sugar and her desire for immediate gratification made baked goods a perfect fit. Small businesses are like children…they take a village. Magpies has been lucky to have grown up among the most supportive family, friends, customers and employees imaginable. This business is a reflection of all of them and YOU!
