The delight in baking began for me as a little girl making mud pies and baking them in the mailbox. When I was strong enough to pull up a chair to my Mothers side, I would partake in the Sunday afternoon ritual of filling the cookie tins with sweet treats for our lunches for the week. I should have known baking would be in my future. Now as an adult I still love butter and sugar combining in a bowl and watching the cake rise in the oven. Creating sweet delights and sharing them is what I love and desire to do.
