Welcome to CADET Industries! We are a small team in the defense industry that is driven to bring you the next generation of all your defense needs. We specialize in ground and aerospace cables and connectors but we service a variety of products that meet your needs. We are a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). In 2014 two brothers had a vision of bringing the cable, connector, and defense industry inline with the next generation. Having grown up around the industry for our entire lives, it was clear to us that we could improve where others have faltered. This idea led to the establishment of operations in Gainesville, FL; where one of the founders was finishing up a business degree at University of Florida and another was ending an honorable career with the United States Air Force. As our business and operations began to grow quickly in the beginning, the decision was made to bring in a third partner. This partner was also a retiree of the United States Air Force with an extensive background in government contracting, program management, as well as engineering. This decision led to the full jump into our own manufacturing facility capable of producing hundreds of cables daily. We bring the Air Force core values into our business model and strive to be a leader and an example. These core values inspire us to do our very best at all times. They are the common bond among all comrades in arms, and they are the glue that unifies the force and ties us to the great warriors and public servants of the past, present, and future. We are a customer-centric operation and serve the best customers in the world. We will source many products and parts for a diversity of needs. We look forward to serving you with today’s and tomorrow’s needs with the next level in service, quality, and customer satisfaction. Blake grew up surrounded by the connector and cable industry as well. This immersion naturally led him to pursue a career at a connector manufacture that excelled during his time there. This gave Blake the experience and knowledge that he needed to make the decision to do this on his own, to a higher standard. This decision led him to University of Florida school of business where he learned the key components of applying his knowledge into a successful business. Chris is also a Service-Disabled Veteran as well as a Veteran of OEF and OIF through military and post military contracting. Chris coincidentally grew up in a family that worked in the defense industry as well. After an unexpected departure from the Air Force due to an injury, Chris became a program manager at deployed locations continuing to have a significant role in military operations. Chris received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business and expanded his desire towards an education in mechanical engineering. This led him into the perfect position of overseeing the quality and production of all builds at CADET. CADET Industries is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small-Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Gainesville, Florida. We have over 30 years of combined experience in manufacturing, engineering, and government-contracting and specialize in providing cables, connectors, wire harnesses, and custom assemblies for both commercial and government applications. Our experienced procurement team can also source a wide variety of supplies and equipment for use at home and down range.
