Ricky was blessed with a diverse career that placed him in many leadership positions.  After a 4-year stint in the US Army, he began his career at GE Healthcare as an engineer, specializing in CT and then MRI systems.  A few years later Ricky moved into management and became the lead engineer for the Jacksonville Florida team.  His expertise lead to the opportunity to teach MRI physics with a private radiology school where he realized that he liked teaching.  After 19 years Ricky made the decision to accept the role of Area Director for GE Healthcare in the North Florida-South West Georgia region.  Three years later he was tasked with assuming all of North Florida and South Georgia.  His territory, once the smallest in the Southeast zone, overnight became the largest and stretched from St. Augustine Florida to Macon Georgia.  His team quadrupled in size overnight.  In this role Ricky became Six Sigma certified and studied Lean methodology.  In nine years as a director with GE, his teams were recognized for financial and operational excellence when they were awarded the company’s coveted ‘Omega Society’ four times.  He retired from GE in 2008 and began consulting in the Tallahassee area, where he had the opportunity to work with nearly half of the state’s government agencies on various projects.  In 2011, he was given the opportunity to become the Director Florida’s Division of Corporations, working for Florida’s Secretary of State.  Ricky was tasked with bringing a private sector mentality to the Division, and finding solutions for a new trend in crime, Business Identity Theft.  In 2013 Ricky left the state and formed Business Shield, Inc., where he provided solutions that protect Florida businesses from Business Identity Theft.  He first heard about the C12 Group in 2016 at a seminar on Christian life in the workplace, and then in 2017 he answered the call to become a full time C12 chair for the Florida panhandle.
