Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Mike Costolo, President of C & L Insurance, Inc. I started C & L Insurance in 1991, after 14 years in the Independent Claims Business. I managed offices for a large independent claims adjusting company. I supervised and adjusted claims from multi-million dollar property claims to liability claims, including wrongful death. I also owned an adjusting company with two other partners eventually selling my interest. I became involved in the agency business at this time and decided to specialize in the Marine Insurance arena. In growing my business, I have worked closely with insurance company underwriters, managers and presidents to review special programs and issues. In addition, I have worked closely with claims managers to review claims and discuss service problems and coverage. I have a professional and courteous staff who has proven themselves time after time in assessing and processing the needs of our customers, as well as working well with our producers, underwriters and other marine industry professionals that my agency works with. My agency remains focused on the Marine Industries, so as not to be distracted by other types of insurance. We are specialists in the Marine Insurance business. I have signed contracts with six major Marine Insurance companies that allow us to be competitive and to provide the best coverage available. I have owned a 43’ Bertram and understand the many facets of boat ownership and the operation of boats. Your yacht is covered afloat, ashore or in transit for accidental direct physical loss or damage. Coverage applies to the yacht itself and includes spars, sails, machinery and other equipment normally required for the operation of maintenance of your yacht. Coverage can also be provided for the yachts dingy and trailer. The policy provides for payment of medical expenses for you, your guests and family if injured while on board, boarding or leaving the yacht. We provide additional protection in the event there is an emergency situation where your yacht is disabled.
