During medical school, Dr. Salinger was exposed to and enjoyed practicing a wide variety of medicine, helping people with their problems, big and small, medical and surgical. He especially appreciates the happy side of medicine which made obstetrics a perfect fit. His interests lead to the study of obstetrics and gynecology during residency at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
