Our Mission Burlap and Threads was founded in 2011 in Orlando, Florida. We specialize in framed artwork, using the combination of burlap and hand and machine embroidery. WELCOME TO BURLAP AND THREADS Burlap is a woven fabric derived from Jute plants, which is one of the strongest textile crops. Jute is obtained from two East Indian plants, Corchorus Capsularis and Corchorus Olitorius. It is the second most important vegetable fiber after cotton, in terms of usage and production. Its all organic and natural quality is very appealing due to its environmentally friendly nature. Burlap has often been utilized for potato sacks and rice bags because of its breathability and tough withstanding conditions. Apart from its traditional usage, it can also be utilized for home décor. Burlap and Threads has incorporated the art of machine and handiwork embroidery on burlap fabric, creating a unique product with various styles and colors.
