“Building Up Sports Academy was designed by teachers to instill discipline, teamwork, and confidence while learning new sports skills” David Aagaard is the founder and owner of Building Up Sports Academy. He has been working with sports camps for over 20 years. He graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University where he majored in Physical Education and minored in communication. David played on the 1995 Fall Palm Beach Atlantic University baseball team and is the former head baseball coach at Jupiter Christian High School. In addition to running Building Up Sports Academy, David is currently in his 17th year as a middle school teacher in Palm Beach County. Building Up Sports Academy was founded in 2002 and has grown from 2 camps the first year to over 80 camps, clinics and programs a year. Building Up Sports Academy is fully insured Building Up Sports Academy is designed to teach, challenge, and entertain young athletes and anglers. We offer different sports and fishing camps for boys and girls all Summer and Spring Break. We run Summer camps for baseball, basketball, flag football, soccer, dance & cheerleading, and more. In addition to sports camps we also offer over 20 fishing camps and clinics a summer. We’re pleased to be offering “Camp Varsity” for 9 weeks a summer. Camp Varsity is a full day sports camp located at Wellington Landings Middle School. We also offer many other exciting programs such as fishing themed birthday parties, sports clinics and peacock fishing charters.
