Hi. I’m Sharon Krieger, Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner and owner of Building New Horizons. My practice is a combination of cutting-edge integrative approaches and medication management.
Those traumatic experiences during a very vulnerable part of a woman and family’s life taught and led me to go in the direction of helping and working with families. In 1979, I created the
and taught parenting classes. During graduate school, I chose to become a Psychiatric Nurse because I wanted to help individuals and their families in their most comfortable environment.
I am drawn to certain systems, and realized early on that I did not fare well in systems whose principles I did not agree with. My belief is that the patient must come first and foremost. I was unable to follow that principle in most systems I worked in, so I created my own (Building New Horizons) because I want to help you to build new horizons and hopefully not need my services anymore.
