Builders Specialties Supply, Inc. was founded in September 1971 by Oliver and Virginia Gore. In 1973, with the determination and drive to keep his business going strong Mr. Gore then decided to move to a bigger more efficient building on . In 1979, Builders Specialties Supply started selling and fabricating steel exterior doors as well as insulated aluminum windows.      In 1981 the building caught on fire and destroyed the entire inventory and records. Once again, with the determination to keep Builders Specialties Supply going, we were open for business three days later into an empty warehouse across the street. In 2005, Hurricane Ivan hit the Gulf Coast and destroyed many of the businesses in Pensacola, including Builders Specialties Supply. Unfortunately, parts of the roof collapsed, the back wall of the building was gone and quite a bit of inventory as well as stored records were destroyed. Once again, with the drive and determination Mr. Gore and his staff had the business open and running a few days later.      Now, 40 years later Builders Specialties Supply, Inc. is still in business and going strong! We are now located at 3857 Street (John Gray Rd). Builders Specialties Supply, Inc. supplies to residential homes, commercial projects, and multi-family construction. We sell a wide range of Windows, Exterior Doors, Hurricane Fabric and Columns.
